Week 4 Start 'Em Sit 'Em
Start 'Em
Deshaun Watson: Finally, it's time for Watson to do what he should be doing this year which is scoring 25+ fantasy points. After getting through the toughest 3 weeks of his season, he faces the Vikings who struggle against the pass. This should be a game that the Texans can win and Watson should be able to exploit a defense for the first time this year. If you stayed with Watson, it was worth it because drafting him will pay off.
Kyler Murray: Murray is having a great fantasy season so far but had a pedestrian performance last week as he threw 3 INTs. The Cards go up against the Panthers this week who are ranked 4th against QBs. Don't let that scare you though, they've played against Derek Carr, Tom Brady and Justin Herbert. They've allowed 30+ points in the first two weeks and although they stifled the Chargers last week, Herbert still passed for 330 yards. I don't think Arizona will have too much trouble moving the ball and with the way Murray performs in the red-zone, he has a chance at 4+ TDs this week.
Austin Ekeler:
Ekeler is one of the best RBs in PPR this year and recorded 11 catches last week. He's a given to get 100+ yards a week and if he scores, it makes his week that much better. He's going up against a Tampa Bay defense who is solid in all facets and it won't be easy for the Chargers to move the ball quickly down the field. This actually bodes well for Ekeler because Herbert will need to check the ball down to him quite often for their offense to be productive. He's a must-start in all formats but a top 5 play in PPR leagues.
James Robinson: Robinson has been one of the leagues most surprising fantasy backs so far this season posting back-to-back 20+ point performances. He has clearly established himself as Jacksonville's lead back as he has shown he can catch out of the backfield as well as find room for chunk yardage on the ground. This week, he goes up against the Bengals who have allowed opposing RBs to run all over them. He should be a workhorse in this one and with the ability, he showed in the receiving game last week, he is no less than an RB2 with top 5 upside.
DeVante Parker: Parker has had a pretty quiet, mediocre season so far. This week, however, he goes against Shaquill Griffin and the Seahawks who have the worst pass defense in the league. Parker will look to have his best game of the season this week as Fitzpatrick should be throwing all game long. If you've been unsure about whether to start Parker, this week isn't the time to be hesitant. Start him with confidence against the Seahawks this week and expect at least 100 yards.
T.J. Hockenson: Hockenson goes up against the Saints this week who have given up the most fantasy points to TEs. T.J. has had at least 4 catches in all three games this year and could be in for an uptick this week. In a game in which Stafford and the Lions will most likely be down for the majority and should be passing their way back in, Hockenson has a chance for a big performance. If you're deciding between Hockenson and another 5-10 ranked TE, Hockenson is your guy this week.
Sit 'Em
Matt Ryan: Ryan has had a great start to the 2020 NFL season but recorded only 11 fantasy points in week 3. This week, he has an enticing matchup in Green Bay on MNF. However, Ryan is notorious for playing worse in outdoor stadiums and I don't see him fixing this problem in this one. It won't be a horrible performance from him, but his ceiling is only around 20-25 points as I just can't see him having a great game outdoors in Green Bay.
David Montgomery: Montgomery has had two 7 point weeks and a 20 point week so far this year. With the Bears offense going missing at times and exploding other times, it's tough to know how much work he's going to get each week. Going against the Colts this weekend, it should be a tough game for him since Indy has been great against the run this year. I don't like this week for Montgomery owners and if you have another option, I would stay away from him.
Jarvis Landry: Landry has been non-existent when it comes to fantasy this year. His upside each week seems to be about 50 yards and it looks as though he might not even be an 800-yard WR this year. With Mayfield's mediocrety and a run game that is top of the league, it doesn't make for a good situation for Cleveland WRs. This week against the Cowboys the Browns will probably be run-heavy and I just can't see Landry scoring more than 5-10 points. He's not even a desperation play at this point.
Darren Waller: After going off in week 2, Waller posted a dud against the Patriots. Don't let that discourage you though it was just Belichick knowing exactly what to do to take him out of the equation. This week, the Raiders take on the Bills and I expect Waller to bounce back in a big way. Not that anybody was planning on benching him, but if you were for some reason, don't.
