Week 4 Fantasy Sleepers
QB Sleepers
Ryan Fitzpatrick: Fitz is coming off back-to-back 24 point fantasy performances against the Bills and Jags. This week, Miami plays host to Seattle, a team that's allowed 430 yards passing on average per game. On top of that, all-pro safety Jamal Adams is going to be out making this an even juicier matchup. In a game in which the Seahawks will probably score 35+ points, Miami will be throwing the ball the whole game playing catchup against a weak secondary. Unless you have a top 5 QB, Fitz has to be considered in all formats.
Matthew Stafford: Stafford has posted 17-18 fantasy points in all three of Detroit's games this year. He hasn't had the easiest of competition this year but plays host to the Saints who have allowed Rodgers and Carr to post almost 300 yards each in consecutive games. I don't think Stafford has a great chance to explode, but he will have his most productive performance of the young season.
RB Sleepers
Latavius Murray: The Detroit Lions defense is the reason Murray has so much upside this week. They've given up the most yards in the league to RB's this year and haven't even played against top RBs. It's known that Murray gets similar if not more carries than Kamara each week and if he gets 12+ touches again, he's got a chance to score a solid amount of points. I wouldn't be surprised if he notches close to 100-yards in this one as the Lions won't be able to slow the Saints run game one bit.
Myles Gaskin: Surprisingly, I'm telling you to consider starting another Miami player. I never thought this would be the case, but here we are. Gaskin has emerged as the Dolphins top RB after totaling 95 yards on 27 touches last Thursday night. The Seahawks are one of the better rushing defenses in the league but with the usage he got last week, Gaskin should be in line for at least 15 carries. The attractiveness of Gaskin this week comes in the passing game. He's got 15 receptions in the first 3 weeks of the season and Fitz seems to like him over the middle. Last week, Zeke Elliott had 11 targets but blew a few chances with drops. Gaskin has the opportunity to have more catches than any of the previous weeks, and he has a great chance to total close to 100 yards once again. He's looking like he can be a solid RB2 for the rest of the year if he has another good week.
WR Sleepers
Preston Williams: Since Miami is a team in which DeVante Parker is the only player on the team that can consistently be started, it takes a matchup against Seattle to make other players on the team worth inserting into your lineup. Williams hasn't done much all year but will look to take advantage of Seattle's horrible defense. Shaq Griffin will be covering Devante Parker meaning Williams will be lined up against week DBs. He is a deep sleeper, but WR2's have had great games against Seattle and I think Williams could do the same.
John Brown: I don't think Brown is a sleeper but it doesn't seem like people want to start him this week so he appears on this list. He scored 16 points in both the first two weeks before getting injured, seeing 16 targets and 2 TDs in those games. In a game in which Diggs could struggle to get open, Brown will be able to do some work underneath and has that big play ability. He should be started in all formats unless your WR core is just outrageous.
TE Sleeper
Jimmy Graham: Graham had a slow first two weeks, but went off for 6 catches, 60 yards and 2 TDs last weekend. With Nick Foles taking over after halftime, it seemed as if the two had a good connection as Graham caught 4 of his passes late. Foles gets the start this week so we'll see what the Bears offense looks like with him at the helm. Graham is certainly a risky play, but if you stream TEs, he's got the most upside out of those available.
