Top Waiver Adds Heading into Week 4

 Nick Foles

After Trubiski failed to maintain the starting job last week against the Falcons, Foles came in during the 3rd quarter and led the Bears to a win while Atlanta blew yet another big lead. Foles had 188 yards, 3 TDs and an INT in under a half of football. He's definitely someone I wouldn't recommend starting yet, but he has major upside. He has obviously proven himself in the past leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl over the Patriots, but has yet to show that type of production since. With a mediocre run-game, the Bears seem to rely on a pass-heavy attack and Foles has a chance to turn back the clock. He's a great stash in with the upside he brings to the table.

Carlos Hyde

Hyde hasn't done much all season but with Chris Carson being out a couple weeks, he's got a chance to produce. The Seahawks have normally been a run heavy team but have unleashed Russell Wilson this year which has made it tough for the Seahawks backs to score TDs unless it's through the air. However, Hyde does have the Seahawks only rushing TD of the year with a 1-yard punch in against Atlanta in week 1. With injuries to the top two RBs in fantasy and weak performances from other top backs, productive RBs are seeming hard to come by this year. Hyde in the long run won't work out, but he has a chance to put up some points this week. The Seahawks go against the Dolphins week in a game where Seattle should dominate. There's a good chance that Hyde gets 15+ carries since the Seahawks shouldn't be losing this game for a minute. The Hawks do like to make games closer than need be but I still think Hyde has RB2 upside. For Carson owners, he's a must add and anybody streaming RBs at the moment have a good one in Hyde.

Brian Hill

Hill rushed 9 times for 58 yards and a TD while adding a 22-yard reception in week 3 against the Bears. He produced the same as Todd Gurley did with 5 fewer touches. Gurley has been struggling to produce a good YPC average this year and has been a disappointment. Although he had a solid game against the Bears, he yielded more carries to Hill than he has all season and if that trend continues, Hill has a shot to surpass Gurley on the depth chart. This is a long shot, but if you have a roster spot to stash Hill, it could be worth it as he looked the better of the two backs on Sunday.

Brandon Aiyuk

Aiyuk caught 5 of 8 targets (both team highs) for 70 yards and carried the ball three times for 30 yards and a TD against the Giants. After being irrelevant with Jimmy G under center, Nick Mullens came in and targeted him more than any other player on the team. If Garoppolo is held out another week, Aiyuk has a great chance of putting up another solid game and should be picked up if you stream WRs.

Justin Jefferson

I was high on this man before the year started and he hasn't disappointed me. Each week he seems to be improving with Kirk Cousins no matter how many yards he throws for. He obviously blew up for 175 yards and a score last week and I wouldn't expect him do that again soon, but he has established himself as someone Cousins can trust. If he isn't already rostered, he's a must add as he may be a WR2 with WR1 upside the rest of the season.

Stephen Gostkowski

Gostkowski has a horrendous first week with the Titans but has bounced back since with 12 fantasy points in week 2 and a whopping 25 in week 3 hitting all 6 of his field goal attempts. The Titans move the ball well but can't seem to find the end-zone as much making Gostkowski a great play each week. Tennessee has attempted an average of 4 field goals a game which is head and shoulders above the 2nd place Colts. The volume at which he attempts field goals gives him a chance at 12+ points a week. For your kicker to produce like that with the upside of having a 25-point performance, that's just free points at the end of the day for your team.
